Whole from Nature, or Found in It
Our ingredient standards begin with a single question: Is this something nature made or inspired?
We prioritize ingredients that are either extracted whole from nature (like oils, butters, and plant extracts) or naturally occurring in the body and environment (such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides, both of which we source from plants). This ensures your skin is supported by materials it recognizes, not foreign fillers.
We Prioritize the Whole Plant, Not Just Its Parts
Take comfrey root as an example. It naturally contains allantoin, a compound widely used for soothing skin. Instead of using pure, lab-isolated allantoin, we use comfrey root extract to deliver its benefits alongside the full spectrum of plant compounds that work in harmony. That’s the difference between healing with nature and copying it in a lab.
Whenever possible, we choose full-spectrum, plant-based solutions over isolated synthetics. You’ll feel the difference, and your skin will thank you for it.
Safe Scents and Smart Preservation
Fragrance is often where brands compromise. Not here. All of our fragrances and preservatives are paraben-free, and our preservatives are selected with safety in mind.
For our water-based formulas(like creams, lotions, and serums) we use Eco-Cert-approved, non-hormone-disrupting preservatives. These are safer for your body and the environment, but they do shorten the shelf life. That’s why we recommend using these products within 3–4 months of opening.
Our oil-based products, by contrast, are entirely preservative-free and remain stable for at least 12 months. That’s the beauty of simplicity.
